I am a multidisicplinary artist living in central North Carolina.
From 2006-2007 I designed and taught curriculum in video production at a high school in Mexico City, including a course in the production of collage-style juxtaposition videos.
In 2008 I founded Yuxtapongo, a public access tv show cablecast in Raleigh and Chapel Hill, NC and created by a growing community of local multidisciplinary artists.
My projects in 2009 included:
Production of and contribution to 12 episodes of Yuxtapongo;
Two gallery installations remixing and representing Yuxtapongo in collaboration with Lincoln Hancock;
Performance in Some Girls, a Rolling Stones cover band;
Tempsgiving, a Thanksgiving album recorded with Tim Inman on lunch break from a temp job;
Easy Money, a solo album in progress.
My goals for 2010 include:
Further deepening the community of Yuxtapongo;
Founding a new public access tv show at The Peoples Channel;
Attempting a theatre with my music and video;
Exploring and further manipulating video;
and body pump.
